You are based in Lincoln. Do you travel to undertake commercial photo shoots? What about the impact on the environment.

I’ve lived in the beautiful Roman city of Lincoln since 1994, and always been based here throughout my working career. Ive seen the growth and development of the city, through investment in areas such as transport links, the expansion of the University of Lincoln and inward investment secured through the work of the likes of Team Lincolnshire and Midlands Engine.

The majority of my commercial photographic shoots do take place across the county of Lincolnshire. But my work isn’t bounded by the county lines! Off the top of my head, I can think of undertaking photo shoots for clients in the following locations: the North East; Manchester and Liverpool in the North West; Leeds and Sheffield in Yorkshire; Nottingham, Derby and Leicester in the East Midlands; Birmingham in the West Midlands; my home country of Wales as well as commercial photography shoots in London.

Travelling to all these locations can certainly rack up the miles on my car. And like many businesses, I am trying to make my own positive impact on the environment and reduce my carbon footprint where I can.

In July 2022 I moved to using an electric car, which I have been able to transition to really well. And where possible, especially when travelling to London, I use the train!

These steps help me do my bit for the environment whilst still allowing me to deliver the number of images I can to support my clients in reaching their sales and marketing goals - whether a shoot takes place in Lincoln, Leeds or London,
