Our prices include our travel to the location, the photographic shoot and the processing of images.

We are based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, proudly serving clients across the East Midlands region. We regularly travel further afield to Manchester and Liverpool in the North West and south to London. 

We are more than willing to discuss travel outside the abovementioned areas.

The processing of images is included in our price. The only additional charges that may be applicable are if unexpected costs are incurred by Chris Vaughan Photography, for example, car parking.

Copyright of all images remain with Chris Vaughan Photography. However, we don’t place any restrictions on images we take for you, so this does not restrict where and when you use the images!

It’s important for you to wear something you feel comfortable in. A guide would be to wear what you would wear to a client meeting. However, this needs to be balanced with realism. I.e would a mechanic wear a suit whilst working on your car?

Don’t worry - I hate have my picture taken to! At Chris Vaughan Photography we endeavour to make shoots relaxing.

Before we send images to you, each picture is individually processed to ensure they are correctly exposed, cropped and that there is no strange colour casts. This is our standard processing of images.

Yes! The adjustment of exposure, colour balance and cropping is included in the price.

Whilst we can edit images, this is not included in our price. In the past we have whitened teeth, and replaced roofs on houses.

If you require a greater level of editing to your images, please ask, and we will be able to advise on the additional charges this may incur.

We offer a guaranteed turnaround time of three working days of the photographic shoot.

At Chris Vaughan Photography, our coverage extends to various areas across the UK, encompassing Lincoln and the East Midlands and further afield to the likes of Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester and London. If you need your images sooner, we are happy to facilitate and look to deliver in a quicker turnaround time to suit your requirement. Please speak to us about this before the shoot.

There is no time limit for you to access your images. Our online site has a back-up of every shoot we have undertaken since 2015.

Absolutely! We place no usage instructions on the pictures we produce for you. So you can use them where ever you feel appropriate.

If you feel it appropriate, then yes! We find this can be another marketing tool for your business!

Absolutely! A press release with photos gets nearly 15% more online views than a text-only press release, so please feel free!

Whilst it is appreciated to have work recognised in this way, there is no expectation that Chris Vaughan Photography must be credited with images.

Absolutely. I hold a current CAA Operator ID and Flyer ID, and every flight is planned and conducted in compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority’s regulations. All flights are fully insured.

Generally not, as long as flights are in permitted airspace and safety requirements are met. If there are restrictions (near airports, events, prisons, etc), I assess and plan accordingly to ensure legal and safe operation.

Yes. I offer professional drone photography and aerial video using lightweight sub-250g drones. These provide excellent quality while giving more operational flexibility in many environments.

For the sub-250 g drones I now fly under the CAA Open Category. I do not need to operate these under a GVC or Operational Authorisation, meaning I fly legally with my Operator and Flyer ID and follow all applicable safety and compliance requirements.

UK drone rules are being updated (including technical classifications and Remote ID for new drones from 2026), but legacy sub-250 g drones like mine continue to fly legally under existing Open Category rules, and I already fully comply with those rules.
